When remotely, better get more Salesforce certifications!

We had an interview with our Salesforce Developer Ariot Ymeri, with the aim to build a guide that will help people get certified easier.

Working remotely has been a major challenge for us, but we had to stay productive and keep growing to fulfill market expectations. Collecting several Salesforce certifications has helped us get better in what we do and collaborate efficiently with each other making it easier to reach our targets.

Salesforce is considered to be world’s #1 CRM platform and has proven to be a major tool to help companies stay efficient even during lockdown period. It was the same for us and our partners, we were very dependent on it.

I remember the day when I started using Salesforce, everything was new and it seemed so difficult to understand. Starting to prepare for Salesforce certification helped me understand the operations of the platform, and later even develop things from scratch.

“Salesforce Certification is the ultimate benchmark that recognizes the skills, expertise, and real-world know-how of today’s cloud specialists.”

Salesforce offers several certifications for cloud specialists, organized in different certification paths. Learn more about Salesforce Certification Paths, before deciding which exam to take.

I’m Ariot Ymeri, a Salesforce Developer at start-cons, and today I’m going to share with you some tips that will help you get certified more easily.

#1 Use a mix of resources

Get access to Salesforce Trailhead, where trails, modules, projects, and superbadges are organized in custom learning paths to help you better manage your progress and improve your skills. Learning for 100+ hours can be boring, but trailhead makes it fun through practical and real-life scenarios. In addition, after every module you will get access to several other resources related to that topic. Such resources are very helpful to succeed in exams.

I suggest you also start watching webinars led by experts and taking many practice exams to understand the logic behind questions. Practice exams can be found all around the internet for free or with premium membership.

#2 Transfer your knowledge

Try to teach colleagues and team-members about what you have learned. Sharing knowledge with others gives you the opportunity to train more, get feedback, and collaborate to reach common goals.

I collaborate with all other members of our team daily and we share knowledge with each other. That is helping our team succeed in several certifications exams in the first attempt.

#3 Start by eliminating the incorrect answers

During the exam, one of the most important tactic to use is eliminating the incorrect (odd) answers, which sometimes can be spotted easily with the right amount of concentration. That is helpful since you are left with less choices and have a higher percentage of choosing the right answer.

The exam takes on average 105 minutes to be completed so it is very important to stay hydrated, feel comfortable and relaxed so you can focus and get the best out of the test.

Good Luck!
